MetrixLab Strengthens Asian Presence with Opening of New China Office

MetrixLab, a global leader in online marketing research services, today announces the opening of a new office in Shanghai, China. The expansion to China is the result of the growing demand from MetrixLab’s global clients to have expert consultants with local knowledge to work on Chinese projects. Adding to their 115 research professionals in Asia, the new Shanghai office will focus on Chinese and regional clients. With this investment MetrixLab now has 15 offices around the world and is the largest new generation agency with revenue of 80M USD and a true global coverage. The office will be led by Edwin Song, he has 20 years market research experience in the Chinese and Asian market. At MetrixLab, Edwin will offer research consulting services on brand development, media & advertising assessment and shopper marketing, which are Edwin’s key areas of expertise.

Edwin Song, a reputable Chinese research professional of 20 years experience, adds China to MetrixLab’s expanding global footprint. He is well-seasoned in the nuances of Chinese and Asian business dynamics and well-versed in the application of strategic research capabilities, making him a perfect executive for driving expansion into China.. Edwin shared “The Metrixlab innovative and proven approach is very relevant in the Chinese and Asian markets. Faster and deeper insights are needed to compete in this region”. Prior to joining MetrixLab, Edwin held several senior consultant and management roles at Ipsos, Synovate, Oracle Added Value and ACNielsen in Greater China. In addition, Edwin is a Hong Kong University SPACE Marketing Lecturer and a Certified Chinese Corporate Trainer.
