Hider In The House, a format created by Eyeworks UK, has received the prestigious Rose D’Or Award in the category ‘entertainment’. The Rose d’Or Festival, held annually in Lucerne, Switzerland, draws the best of the year’s new entertainment and television programming. This year a total of 402 programs from 34 countries entered the competition.
In addition to Hider In The House three more Eyeworks formats were nominated: Celebrity Shock (reality / Eyeworks Belgium), Kargar Trifft Den Nagel (comedy / Eyeworks Germany) and Beat The Blondes (game show / Eyeworks International). Beat the Blondes managed to rank in the top 3 in the game show category.
With Hider In The House winning this year’s award Eyeworks has now received its third Rose D’Or. In 2005, Eyeworks’ Test The Nation received two of these internationally renowned awards for best game show and best format.
Hider In The House
A huge hit for Eyeworks in the UK where it doubled its slot on BBC, Hider In The House is a hilarious and engaging kids hidden-camera show which all the family can enjoy. A brand new challenge based series that pits the wits of children against mums and dads as they attempt to hide a celebrity in their house for an entire weekend. For every task in which the hider and the kid are successful they will win a prize, and as the challenges get more difficult the prizes get better! But if mum or dad ultimately realize there’s a hider in the house it’s game over.
