Endeit Capital is a European Venture Capital firm focusing on growth technology companies with International aspirations. We are looking for a tech-enthusiastic Associate to join the Dutch investment team, based in Amsterdam.

Endeit currently has 15 companies in 7 countries in its portfolio. With its current €264m fund, Endeit invests €5 to 30m per company focusing on growth rounds (Late A and Series B+).

Excellent and fun team: The investment team currently consists of 12 FTE spread across three international offices (Hamburg, Stockholm and Amsterdam) and consists of 6 partners, 1 investment manager, 2 associates and 3 analysts and is looking to add 1 associate to the Dutch team in Amsterdam. As an associate you will work very closely with the partners responsible for The Benelux as well as the partners based in Germany and Sweden with an unparalleled track record of success.
International footprint: Although you will focus primarily on The Benelux and some other European countries, the high growth companies will internationalize further and most likely have an international exit/buyer. Our teams meet regularly at our different offices to work together and to meet for social events and presentations on segment studies.

Your role within the team
With Endeit’s three teams covering the DACH, Nordics or Benelux region, each team consists of 3 to 5 persons. The Benelux team consists currently of two partners and two analysts. We are looking for Associate to join this team as the 5th person.
In your role as an Associate your primary focus will be on sourcing and to evaluate investment opportunities and contribute to due diligence processes/deal execution with a strong focus on financial modeling and market research. Also, you will assist in managing the Amsterdam based team of analysts and interns on these activities and guide them in developing further their hard skills. At the same time, you will have direct exposure to portfolio management activities and other aspects of the investment cycle.
Dealflow and execution
Deal sourcing: Building a network and meeting passionate entrepreneurs at (inter)national conferences and Endeit events. You will research and identify high-potential market segments and analyse specific promising business models.
Deal analysis: Evaluating companies and their business models and market opportunities as well as conduct business plan analysis and financial modelling.
Deal execution: Managing manage due diligence processes, write investment memos and support in deal negotiations.
Portfolio management: Managing financial reporting, KPI setting and conduct performance reviews as well as valuation and return calculations.
Portfolio support: Supporting our portfolio companies on strategy development, potential M&A activities and on follow-on financing and exit.
What we look for
Background: You have a strong academic record/degree and already have 2 to 4 years of work experience in a fast-paced environment (e.g. VC, Corporate Finance (M&A or FDD), Tech Start-up, PE, Strategy Consulting), preferably demonstrating your interest in technology or VC.
Mindset: You are an analytical, numbers-driven person with an eye for detail and have the ability to quickly recognize patterns enabling you to analyse topics holistically. You have a focus on actionable insights supported by data that can drive decision making processes.
Skillset: You have exceptional skills around spreadsheets, P&Ls and financial modeling, are able to build crisp presentations and you know how to research and analyse in depth industries and competitive landscapes and identifying the highest potential startups. You speak both English and Dutch fluently.
Personality: You are able to adapt to new tasks autonomously without much guidance, are able to reach out yourself to entrepreneurs and people who could be helpful in diligence and running diligence calls, you have a general eagerness to learn and passion for new technologies and emerging business models and, most importantly, you are a team player.
